ASWAP STRENGTHENED CAPACITY-SAYS MINISTER

Meanwhile, Capitol Hill says the Agriculture Sector Wide Approach program has strengthened the capacity of agriculture experts in the country.

Minister of Agriculture, Professor Peter Mwanza says the agriculture is the backbone of the country’s economy hence the need to have well- trained agriculture experts.

The minister made these remarks over the weekend during celebrations of the ASWAP programme in Lilongwe.
