BM Sofa Designs delivers promised K1.2m sofa set to musician Gides Chalamanda

Malawi: Malawi's well-known musician, popularly known aGide, on 16 October 2022 finally got his long-promised K1. 2 million sofa set from BM Sofa Designs, a Mzuzu-based company.

Gides Chalamanda, who did the famous Linny HOO song with Namadingo, was promised the sofa set during the launch of Mibawa Television in Mzuzu on 27 August 2022, where he came to perform.

BM Sofa Designs Executive Director Peter Kasewe stated that he is a man who keeps his word, which is why he travelled to Gides' home village in Chitradzulu with Mibawa Television Executive Director to fulfil the promise.

Kasewe is one of Malawi's few successful businessmen, and he is operating in Mzuzu and the surrounding areas of Jenda, Mzimba, and Rumphi.

Meanwhile, aGide, the nonagenarian musician, was overjoyed to see the promised outcome come true.

Kasewe recently donated a K650,000 sofa set to Miss Mzuzu winner Lenna Phiri in addition to the sofa given to Gides.
