Deputy Minister of Health Urges Communities to Avoid Corruption for Developmental Projects

Malawi-Deputy Minister of Health and Member of Parliament for Dowa South Constituency, Halima Daud, has called on local communities and chiefs to avoid corruption in promoting developmental projects in the area, writes Alinafe Nyanda.
Daud emphasized the importance of avoiding malpractice in achieving the government's 2063 vision on Sunday during the launch of the MK84 million Chivala Police Unit construction project, funded by the World Bank.
Traditional Authority Mkukula commended the government for the timely construction of the police unit, saying it will help fight crime.
The project will be implemented over the course of three months by South Gate Construction Company.
The launch was attended by various stakeholders, including the district commissioner and council chair.
