Dossi takes swipe at Nankhumwa for 14-day ultimatum to President Chakwera

Malawi: Moses Dossi, former Minister of Youth, Sports, and Culture, has taken a swipe at the Leader of Opposition in Parliament, Kondwani Nankhumwa, for issuing a 14-day ultimatum to President Lazarus Chakwera to fix the challenges that have burdened the nation or face nationwide protests.

According to a press release dated October 16, 2022, Dossi is opposing the proposal made by Nankhumwa, to give the current president days to address the challenges that Malawians face.

Dossi's remarks came just hours after Nankhumwa held a press conference urging the president to address the country's challenges.

The Leader of the Opposition in Parliament stated unequivocally that the country's president should resign within fourteen days for what he described as the president's failure to address the current problems Malawians face in the country.

Dossi stated that President Chakwera has "massively" delivered on the promises he made during the campaign period, which he has only demonstrated in the last two years.
