DW Traineeship 2023 | Call for Applications open until November 29!

Dear Friends of DW Akademie,

We would like to inform you that the Call for applications for the DW Traineeship is still open!

Deutsche Welle is looking for young people worldwide who are interested in a comprehensive, high quality journalism program with Germany’s international broadcaster. The 18-month program covers a wide range of skills needed by up-and-coming journalists: TV hosting techniques, multimedia storytelling, data journalism, social media and virtual reality skills.

Candidates must have completed a university or college degree or an apprenticeship. They should have previous journalism experience or be passionate about switching from the areas of technology/IT, economics or the sciences to a career in journalism.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the start of DW's international traineeship program will be postponed until January 2023.

The call for applications will be open until November 29, 2021.
