Foreign Ministers (FMs) from Iran, Tanzania meet for talks
Amirabdollahian emphasised the importance of putting agreements signed by the two countries at the first session of the joint commission on comprehensive cooperation into action.
Hossein Amirabdollahian, the Iranian Foreign Minister, met with his Tanzanian counterpart, Ms. Mulamula, on Friday afternoon.
Amirabdollahian stressed the importance of implementing agreements reached during meetings with Tanzanian officials, particularly the country's president, during the meeting.
Amirabdollahian described the resolution of the visa issue for those interested in doing business in Tanzania as a prerequisite for the expansion of ties to desirable levels.
The Iranian foreign minister went on to outline the latest status of the sanctions removal talks. Amirabdollahian emphasised that if the US acts realistically, previous agreements can be implemented on new terms.
