INVITATION TO SACCAWU MEDIA CONFERENCE TO MA OUT MASS ACTION AGAINST THE MASSMART GROUP

The South African Commercial Catering and Allied Workers Union (SACCAWU) is in dispute with the Massmart Group of companies which include Mass Warehouse (Makro, Game, Makro Fruitspot); Massbuild – (Builders Warehouse, Builders Express, Builders Trade Depot, Builders Superstores); Mass Cash – (Rhino Cash and Carry, Jumbo Cash and Carry, Cambridge) representing 229 stores nationally.

The media conference will be held following a National Strike meeting comprising shopstweward coordinators of all these stores. This meeting will be held on Sunday 14 November 2021 to consolidate issues pertaining to the Strike and a date for commencement thereof.
