Jabulani Nyirenda and Gift Kasambala terminate contracts with Karonga United due to club's "failure" to fulfill obligations
Karonga United confirmed Nyirenda's departure and stated that the former TN Stars player approached them about the issue.
Malawi: Jabulani Nyirenda, a right-back for Karonga United, and striker Gift Kasambala have announced that they have terminated their contracts with the team, writes Alinafe Nyanda.
They say they have decided to leave the Ingwina Boys due to the club's “failure” to fulfil its contractual obligations.
Karonga United confirmed Nyirenda's departure and stated that the former TN Stars player approached them about the issue.
However, the club's general secretary, Ramsy Simwaka, declined to comment on Kasambala's exit.
Both Nyirenda and Kasambala appear to have lost confidence in the club, and the Ingwina Boys will need to make a decision about Kasambala's future.
