Baku, Azerbaijan-Malawi's First Deputy Speaker, Madalitso Kazombo, is currently in Azerbaijan attending a Special Session of the Milli Majlis dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, writes Tionge Hara.
The anniversary has attracted delegates from nearly 33 countries, including Malawi.
Kazombo expressed his role in representing the Malawi Parliament and being part of the celebrations.
He stated, "I am here representing Malawi Parliament to be part of the celebrations."
As part of the commemoration of the great leader's 100th anniversary, laying flowers at Heydar Aliyev's grave was included in the program.
The event serves as a mark of respect and recognition for the significant contributions made by Heydar Aliyev to his nation.
The Special Session in Azerbaijan not only pays tribute to the National Leader but also provides an opportunity for international participants to foster diplomatic relations and strengthen bilateral ties.
