During one of the media interviews, Malewezi said this particular album is quite special to him as an artist and individual as it showcases a new direction he has taken with his poetry.
"It is a convergence of both my passions for poetry from 2009. The job was to package the poems for audio. It is also the result of a lot of collaborations, and I am honoured to have worked with some of my favourite artists including Maggie Kadrum, Praise Umali, Paul Kachala, Phindu Banda and Seven O’More," he said.
Phindu Banda appeared as a guest poet, bringing to the stage a whirlwind of emotions and syncing the crowd into her art and deep poetic talent.
Gender-based violence, and women's and men's empowerment were among the highlighted themes during the launch.
