MANEB Confirms Preparations on Track for 2023 National Exams

Lilongwe, Malawi-The Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB) has released a statement confirming that preparations for the 2023 national examination are progressing well, writes Alinafe Sambo. 

The statement by MANEB notes that the primary school leaving certificate of education will be held from May 10 to May 12, with 276,052 students slated to sit for the exam.

MANEB has also stated that all special education needs (SEN) candidates will be handled in accordance with guidelines developed in consultation with relevant stakeholders in 2022.

In addition, MANEB has reassured the public that all necessary security measures have been put in place to ensure a credible 2023 examination.

The Malawi Defense Force and Malawi Police Service will provide joint examination security.
