MALAWI: Martin Nkhata aka Martse, Malawi's hip hop genius, died Monday afternoon, according to his brother Jerome Nkhata.

Martse was taken to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital after suffering fire burns over the weekend.

Meanwhile, Joy Nathu of Radio 2 FM has dedicated tonight's Made on Monday musical programme to the late artist.

Musicians and fans have expressed their condolences via various social media platforms.
