MyBucks unveils Sizoni yanga deposit promotion

Malawi: MyBucks Banking Corporation has launched the 'Sizoni yanga deposit promotion,' which allows its customers to win various prizes, including a trip to the Republic of Seychelles.

Linda Nkosi, Marketing and Customer Experience Manager at MyBucks, stated that the promotion is coming as a way of thanking their customers.

“As MyBucks, we really appreciate the support that we get from our customers, therefore we saw it wise to thank them through the promotion that we have launched,” Nkosi said.

She also stated that the promotion aims to encourage MyBucks customers to develop a habit of saving their earnings.

“Through the promotion, we would like also to encourage our customers to embrace a saving culture, the economy is tough out there hence we need the customers to be saving at least a little something that would keep them going,” she said.

According to her, in order to qualify for the promotion, MyBucks customers with savings accounts must deposit K50,000 and keep it as a minimum account balance for one month.

Customers with current accounts are also required to deposit K50,000 into their accounts and keep it as a minimum account balance for one month.

Those with fixed deposit accounts must deposit K100,000 into their accounts and keep it as a minimum account balance for one month.

Nkosi also stated that they have set aside various prizes to be given to those who win the promotion.

She said: “The grand prize is a trip to Seychelles for one lucky winner, the second prize is 15 mitres by 30 mitres plot which will also be given to one lucky winner, the third prize is a four-plate gas cooker which will also be given to one winner.

“We have also put consolation prizes which will be given to the winners who will be winning through raffle draws conducted on a fortnight basis, the consolation prizes include; K20, 000 shopping vouchers and MyBucks branded T-shirt.”

She stated that the promotion will run from June 21, 2022, to November 20, 2022, and she encouraged customers to participate in large numbers, stating that the promotion is for them.

She also encouraged those who have not yet opened a MyBucks account to do so and participate in the promotion.
