New Generation Charity Organization Empowers Youth to Tackle Daily Challenges

Malawi -New Generation Charity Organization has launched an initiative aimed at empowering vulnerable youth to overcome the challenges they face every day, writes Peter Chilongo.

The Executive Director, Anicet Ilunga Banza, revealed that the organization is targeting orphans, widows, individuals with albinism, and children with disabilities.

"We will not leave any stone unturned in developing our societies and communities by intellectualizing kids' cultural skills to improve the development of society through the different talents of kids," said Banza.

He further explained that the organization is committed to being the voice for voiceless children who are victims of situations like disability, showing society that disability is not inability.

New Generation aims to reach almost 100 vulnerable children to alleviate their daily suffering.

However, the organization is facing several challenges. Banza lamented the lack of a fixed venue to gather children for transformation and empowerment, as well as a shortage of resources to motivate the volunteers who teach the children.

The initiative is operating out of Dzaleka Refugee Camp, with the goal of fighting for the lives of the camp's children.

New Generation is appealing to all interested developmental actors, youth-friendly organizations, and well-wishers to join the fight to reach out to less privileged children.
