One more arrested on suspicion of murdering eight-year-old boy

Malawi: Police in Chikwawa district have arrested another person on suspicion of involvement in the November killing of 8-year-old Marko Chagaka.

Sergeant Dickson Matemba of the Chikwawa Police Station told AfricaBrief on Sunday morning that the suspect, Aubrey Khambi 33, has been on the run since the arrest of his two accomplices on November 28, 2022.

Chagaka, an eight-year-old boy, was murdered on November 26, 2022, and his head was severed by the assailants.

Police in the district has warned anyone who takes the law into their own hands that they will face consequences.
