Rumphi Hospital Reports No New Cholera Cases in Past 8 Days Following Mass Vaccination, Sensitization Campaign

Malawi: Rumphi Hospital has not reported any cases of cholera in the past 8 days, which is likely due to the district's efforts in vaccination and sensitization campaigns, writes Victor Musongole.

Overall, the district has seen 1,034 cases of cholera and 17 deaths since the outbreak was declared a pandemic in the country in March of last year.
