SEAC conducts post-election review in Malawi based on recommendations from previous elections

LILONGWE, Malawi-A team from the SADC Electoral Advisory Council (SEAC) is conducting a post-election review in Malawi based on SEAC's recommendations after the May 2019 tripartite elections and the June 2020 fresh presidential elections.
The review adheres to the SADC Principles and Guidelines Governing Democratic Elections, according to Notemba Tjipueja, SEAC's Deputy Chairperson and a SEAC member from Namibia.
Winston Mwale, AfricaBrief Editor-in-Chief, spoke with Tjipueja to learn about the mission in Malawi.
