Cameroon: On June 14, the Serbian Ambassador to Cameroon, Miroljub Jevtiv, paid a working visit to the University of Yaounde 2 main campus in Soa.
Ms. Carolin Chamala Kayo, Consul of Serbia in Congo, accompanied him. During the exchange, the guest was introduced to the school.
The Rector, Adolphe Minkoa, discussed the institution's mission and visions, as well as its schools and personnel.
For about an hour, the Ambassador and the Rector discussed various aspects of good cooperation between the University of Yaounde 2 and Belgrade University in Serbia, such as mobility of teachers and students through scholarship awards, seminars, and other aspects of social science research.
During the exchanges, the idea of establishing a centre for the study of the Serbian language and culture on the Soa campus was discussed.
The two parties agreed at the end of the visit to make a set of proposals in preparation for signing a cooperation agreement.
