Tay Grin delves into Amapiano music

Malawi: Tay Grin, Malawi's legendary hip-hop artist, delves into Amapiano music with his latest single "Foto."

Amapiano is a recently discovered South African subgenre of House and Kwaito music.

The new song is thought to have been leaked after it circulated online earlier this week.

The Nyau King, born Limbani Kalirani, issued a statement asking his music fans to be patient for an official release of the single to occur soon.

The artist, who has collaborated with international artists such as Nigeria's 2Baba and Zimbabwe's Buffalo Soujah in the majority of his music, says he "will officially post the link of the Spanking hot new single any day" to his digital platform.

Phantom Steeze, a South African artist, is featured on the audio.

Tay Grin of the "Ufumu Paliponse" motto is well-known for his "nyau" traditional dance with a hip-hop twist.
