Will NYASA Big Bullets FC turn the tables against Simba SC?
Bullets, according to Callisto Pasuwa, learned from their mistakes after being punished in their previous game, but they have returned to Tanzania with a positive attitude, hoping to turn the tables.
Malawi: After suffering a 0-2 defeat at home in the first leg of the Total Energies Caf Champions League preliminary round against Simba Sporting Club at Bingu International Stadium, NYASA Big Bullets FC has high hopes of coming back strongly at Benjamin Mkapa stadium in Tanzania on Sunday.
Bullets, according to Callisto Pasuwa, learned from their mistakes after being punished in their previous game, but they have returned to Tanzania with a positive attitude, hoping to turn the tables.
“Football is a game of mistakes, and after being punished at home, we believe anything is possible, that we can score more games as they did at home, and that things will change,” Pasuwa said.
The coach has also described the players of Simba Sporting Club as learned, experienced, and seasoned players who cannot be easily defeated.
Nyasa Big Bullets will be without Yamikani Fodya and Lanjesi Nkhoma, due to injuries.
Juma Mgunda, Simba Sporting coach, has assured bullets that they must be prepared to return home empty-handed, because they have the support of their fans, but they have a home ground advantage, so bullets will not be given a chance, and as a team, they are not prepared to disappoint their fans.
He said: "We know the club has given us our targets, so we will get there together. We are ready to achieve the club's goals, and all players are ready. Whoever is in the square will represent it well, and we are finally technically prepared to race.”
Mgunda has been appointed as head coach.
